To kick off the summer, Randy Jackson wore his Diamond Centurion signature series watch on the finale of American Idols sixth season, where Jordan Sparks was named the winner on May 23rd 2007 in Los Angeles.

In furtherance of our partnership as the official timepiece of IndyCar Series, Ritmo named in Dan Wheldon, Helio Castroneves, and Milka Duno as official Ritmo Mundo ambassadors. Dan leads the Indy standings after taking second in last years race and holds a record of six winnings, including the Indianapolis 500 championship and the IndyCar Series championship. Helio holds five record titles and serves as an excellent iconic representative for the Ritmo brand with his glamorous persona and popularity that transcends the racetrack. Milka Duno made her debut this year at the Indianapolis 500; she brings sophistication to the Ritmo brand with her brilliance, charm and passion for the sport.

Our partnership with the Miss Universe pageant was highlighted by the awarding of three RITMO JET Piccolo Data Diamonds to the winners. A $30,000 diamond studded JUMBO JET with Mystery Dial watch was awarded to the winner, Miss Universe, Riyo Mori of Japan at the end of the NBC national telecast in Mexico City.

RITMO also celebrated the Miss Teen USA Awards in Pasadena with the awarding of a diamond studded Jumbo Jet to Hilary Cruz. Miss USA Rachel Smith and Miss Teen USA pageant winner Hilary Cruz are having fun with their RITMO Fun timepieces while Miss Universe sports her Jumbo Jet!

Also new this summer, Ritmo became the official timepiece of Jerry Weintraub celebrity laden sequel Oceans 13 starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney. The stars are featured in the movie wearing the new Oceans 13 timepiece made exclusively for the cinema! The piece is now available worldwide.

The Oceans 13 style is commemorative of the three films and represents the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. Its small Oceans 13 movie emblem, leather strap, chronograph movement and steel casing make this a cult must-have for every movie or timepiece collector.

On September 11, 2007, RITMO was proud to culminate this season's exciting conclusion of the Indy Racing League with the awarding of the Championship Watch, a Ritmo Mundo timepiece valued at approximately $25,000 to Dario Franchetti of the Andretti Green Racing Team in Indianapolis. Concurrently, RITMO announced the arrival of the first of many IndyCar® inspired timepieces shown below which retail for $750. The IndyCar Quartz Chronograph 221 is sure to leave a mark as you speed past friends and competitors; with its Rhonda 5040B movement and Arabic numerals around the case, these timepieces will be hard to catch as consumers trot the globe to collect them.

Professional champion driver and Ritmo Ambassador, Helio Castroneves, takes on an entirely new challenge as a contestant in the fifth season of the popular TV show, Dancing with the Stars. His Dancing With the Stars partner, last years' winner, Julianne Hough, has already begun to show off her RITMO.

As the holiday season approaches, the following three Ritmo Mundo collections are now available at fine retailers around the world; The Persepolis, The Centurion and The Hercules:

The Persepolis 201, inspired by the great Persian Empire dynasty thousands of years ago. A triple time zone timepiece at 50 mm in diameter, one side of its case is a retrograde hour and minute indicator, the reverse side houses two additional time zones. It is available in mixed metals of steel and PVC coating and is cornered with four imperial hollow lugs at each corner. It utilizes four separate quartz movements. Persepolis will be featured in Robb Report in November and December 2007.

The Centurion 181, 182, 183 and 184 is distinguished by its rounded-square stainless steel case and distinctive, off center "driving dial" with the 12 positioned between 10 and 11 o'clock for the 181 and 182 models and between the 1 and 3 position for the 183 and 184 models. They feature an enamel dial with Arabic numerals, silver index, and white luminous hands on a leather strap. The stainless steel case features deep engravings and a sapphire crystal window and comes in black, blue, tigers eye, white, silver, and salmon. New for 2007 are the rose and yellow gold casings.
